Question about 1994 Toyota Camry
My 94 Toyota Camry LE 4 cyl. runs really rough. It often stalls when I stop, even when in neutral. When I accelerate from a stop I often have to baby the petal to keep it from stalling out, but once it get going it drives fairly well until I slow down for a turn or stop. The only time it runs decent and not stall out is when the engine is cold, but as soon as I drive a few miles it starts to run rough. I recently had to have the timing belt changed. It ran fine before then, but after the timing belt was changed it seemed to have a little skip, off and on, so I changed the spark plugs, wires, and rotary cap. I was told the distributor cap was fine. It has gotten worse the more I drive it, as well as the gas mileage, 261 miles on 16 gal. of gas. The check engine light has been on every since I bought the car 2 yrs. ago. I recently did a diagnostic test and it gave me a code 24, an intake air temperature sensor, which is located inside the air cleaner housing. But it doesn't have an air cleaner housing on it. The previous owner installed a cold air intake system on it. So, what can be my problem ?

You need to reinstall the factory air intake first to take care of the check engine light. it will more than likely have more than one code. the rest could be lots of possibilities-vacuum leak, idle air control valve issues, egr issues, timing maybe off (with distributor or timing belt). just to name a few.

The previous owner has screwed things up by changing the air intake and eliminating the air temp sensor. The car's computer depends on a series of sensors to determine what fuel mixture it should command, and now it can't do that properly.
When the car is cold, it knows from the coolant temp, and it sends plenty of fuel, but when hot it is getting the mixture wrong.
Restore the air intake to original, with the correct sensors, as it should run OK.
If not, then go looking for a vacuum leak or an air leak in the air intake hose and plenum somewhere.

Make sure you don't have a faulty fuel injector, this may be the cause, also use a can of carb spray and spray around the intake gasket to check for leaks, if one is present you will notice a diff in the engine sound when the spray hits it.

SOURCE: won't start
check the spark, if spark is weak it will not start, also if battery is weak it will not start, it will crank but most of the AMP from batttery is taken by the starter.

Rule 1 ....WD40 is non-flammable. It used to be an effective starter spray for diesels. Unfortunately it now contains a fire retardant to prevent accidents....so the rev you were looking for wont arrive.
It does work well with easy-start/ether though.
I suspect you found a vacuum leak and sucked WD40 into the intake....If u think u did you'll need to clean your plugs.
A strobe lamp to check the spark would be a good idea. Also if a lil squirt (VERY LITTLE) of easy start doesnt produce at least a backfire, your spark is out.

I would think that it is one of two common problems...
1) The Idle Air Control (I.A.C.) valve may be bad.
2) The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (E.G.R.) valve may be stuck open.
You may need a skilled technician to determine which of the two possibilities is the problem.
