Alarm turns on when car is locked

Hello,
Does your alarm turn on ( it starts beeping) or do you mean that the car gets locked automatically once you close the door?
If it is option number one you will need to take your car to the dealer as the alarm for mercedes benz is link to the computer of the car.
If it is no. 2 it is normal for the car to do this
Thanks

My mercedes c240 will click but wont start

My Mercedes C-Class 1996 won't start up, the alarm is confused it thinks it's locked, every time i unlock it, the red light( locked) and green light(unlocked) flash at the same time constantly, if I open the car and try turn on the engine, the alarm starts blaring, I've turned it on before and drove it around but when i came to park it up it did not turn on again because of that problem.( The car hasn't been touched or used for a year before i got it going again)

Car wont start. turn the key and it tries to turn over but the engine will just not fire. battery is fine

Try 2nd key.

If it does not fire up then it's the immobilizer / alarm circuit at work or at fault.
