It sounds like your fuel distributer is clogged. Replace your fuel filter. first you can try to bleed your system. take 12mm. wrech and loosen up you lines(one at a time) and crank your engine over(with a battery charger)and force your fuel bubbles out of the lines. while the engine is cranking and the line is loose knock on the line with the wrench and you will probably see a whole buch of rust poor out of the loose fitting. do thius repeatedly untill engine fires off-then with engine running loosen up your lines and repeat if any lines loosen up and there is no idle change that means that cylender is not firing and your injecter is not working. These mechanical style injecter's take alot of pressure to open the poppet valve to spray fuel.hope I have been helpful

Im getting a crank/ no start situation on my 93 chevy astro ext 4.3Ltr v6 and ive never let a vehicle beat me b4 but this one is giving me a sound whoopin - pls help

Easiest way to trouble shoot a crank no start is to spray starting fluid into the air cleaner intake before you crank it. If it fires then dies it is a fuel problem. If it doesn't fire it is a spark problem. If it fires then dies, check the fuel pressure at the engine end of the fuel line. Pressure below spec prevents the injectors from working properly. See shop manual for the proper procedure.
If it doesn't fire put a spark tester at one of the plug wires set to the proper gap to measure the spark voltage being developed by the coil etc. Good luck.

My 1992,190e,2.6L benz responds slow when you press on the gas pedal. what could cause this problem?

Worn ignition components or bad fuel system issue. With the vehicles age I would suggest a full tune up as people seem to think Mercedes means all parts last forever.

Old j reg mercedes 230te wont start

Check Injectors spraying Fuel when you start. Fuel pump prime because you hear the pump. IF pump is weak, then your Fuel distributor doesn't have correct pressure to spray fuel when injectors open. Do your sparks plug wet after trying several times. If they are dry then you don't have fuel. Replace injectors If they are wet then you don't have correct air:gas ratio of 14.6:1. Replace Fuel distributors
