Question about 1990 Acura Legend
Hi Guys. I have a 1990 Acura Legend. The front driver's window stays up. We hooked power to the window and it does work (comes up and down in track). Then the other front window stopped working. (Going backwards here!) I replaced the black plastic controller regulator attached to inner door panel. No difference. I switched out the relays in the black plastic fuse box top of engine, driver's side. I replaced the power window switch (put on a 1990 door panel from wrecking yard with different switches) no difference. The only weird thing is that when I operate the rear windows (which always have worked fine) the regulator/controller is completely silent but when I attempt to operate the switch for the driver's side window the controller/regular CLICKS inside. Gee Whiz!!!! What should I try next? Thanks in advance for your help. Rhonda
Hey. This is very likely power window switch and second one would be a relay. Look in ovners manual which relay is responsible for your windows and or doors. Let me know if you can't check it out

You have totake the door panel off to get to the wiring harness. door panel should be held by plastic clips so all you have to do is grab a corner and give a nice tug. First check to make sure there are no screws in it that I may have missed. Remove the clips from the door with a fork and put them in the panel and replace the panel by using a small tap.

Ground goes through the master switch on the drivers side. Bad master switch can cause the other windows not to work. Don't forget to check the "window lock" switch in the master switch, which shuts off the other 3 windows.

if the windows work when hooking to battery, then check the switches and wiring. it may even be a bad ground. I worked on power window a few months ago, and it had a bad ground as not to work. try by running a wire from motor or ground connection to a bare spot on door. if the window works then you can either put in a screw or ground to something on door.
