How tight do i tighten front wheel bearing on 1996 nissan pick up

Using a torque wrench, tighten the nut to 12 ft lbs. once all is back together new grease, clean bearings, and such. Tighten to 12 ft lbs. and turn the wheel and tap (tap on the outer edge of the disk) with a hammer as you turn it. Recheck the nut at 12 lbs. Then loosen the nut till it is just loose, no more, use your hand not any tools tighten the nut as tight as you can to align the nut with the cotter pin hole and Install a new cotter pin, and set it. Put on the cap and done.

I have a 91 nissan 4x4 the front studs broke off and iwas trying to replce them but the axel nut is on bt i cant find a socket anywhere to get it off

If you can't get anywhere to get one, you will be able to loosen it with a hammer and punch or chisel. Just drive it counter clock wise, and loosen it.

Rear Wheel Bearing Repair; 2005 pontiac aztek

Remove the brake caliper
Remove the disc, (rotor)
Remove the 34mm nut on the axel shaft
Remove the three (3) bolts from the back side
You will need a wheel puller (three jaw will work well)
Place the puller over the hub and tighten, this will push the shaft out of the hub. Now you have to pull the hub assy. out of the mounting bracket. I found hitting each side,of the hub with a lead hammer to work well. Don't forget to disconnect the ABS senser on the back side of the hub assy.
Do not over tighten the 34mm axel nut when you install the new assy. If you use an impact whrench on it you will damage the bearing.

Cant get my axel off

If you are referring to the axle nut on the end of the axle shaft, you may need an impact wrench, or make sure to bend the nut back (straighten out the bent section), put the car on the ground with the wheel on, and use a breaker bar, with a 3 foot piece of pipe attached (cheater bar) to loosen it. REMEMBER - some of these are reverse thread, if so you will have to go clockwise to loosen and CCW to tighten, thus, you MAY be tightening it - check the thread on the end of the shaft to tell you what way to turn the nut - if it still won't come off then you may have to use some heat, and/or chemical penetrants, but make sure you are turning it the correct way first...
