Question about Jeep Liberty
My battery was old and died in my Jeep Liberty. I replaced it and everything works great except for the door lock. They are not working with the remote or from inside the vehicle. Can anyone tell me if they can be reset? Or any other solutions? They worked absolutely fine prior to the battery issue!
Start the engine and sit inside the the vehicle and operate the remote and lock switch together also check the fuses they sometimes blow

I had the same problem with now power to windows, mirrors and seat. The common soulution is the orange and or black wire in the boot have broken between the door and post.

a brake in ur wires in the door,on a 04 grand i had the same problem,in the wire harness were the junction box is rust had broken one of the male prongs

Most of the times on jeeps and all chrysler auto's they have a body control modual this is what controls your door locks , windows ect. It should be in the owners manual for all fuse location and identification. A shop with a scanner can check the door lock system for you. body control moduals go bad alot on all chyslers and if you buy one you need to buy it from the dealership they will program it . So check the owners manual for a fuse and then have the body control mod checked

I have found a ridiculous solution for this door lock issue. As many people have mentioned, it does involve the control panel under the driver side dash. I noticed that if I pushed the control panel/fusebox in while working the key fob and/or door lock switch, IT WORKED! So, my silly solution was to insert a t-ball (regulation size) between the fusebox/control panel and the paneling closest to the driver on the top side of the fusebox. IT WORKS!!
Glad I didn't spend $500 for Toyota dealer to fix.
Hope my son doesn't miss his t-ball!!
