SOURCE: dead battery making a clicking sound

take the battery out of the veh and see if it will charge overnight on a charger, if not then the bat just ran its course I doubt it is 11 years old. Bats last anywhere from 3 to 5 years then they die if it does charge then your alternator needs to be replaced as it charges the battery when you drive, low voltage may cause the buzzing, tellin gyou there is a problem.

Auto-lock on the doors is the default setting. You dealer should be able to change this setting for you. If your current dealership cannot, then take it to another, presumably better, dealership.

SOURCE: I have 2004 toyota landcruiser, the battery is

I am not sure this will work on a landcruiser. I have never worked on one. I had a friend who had a car with no door handles just electric latches. He left his lights on one day and could not get in. We jacked the car up, put stands under it, and hooked a booster pack to the starter and a good body ground. This supplied the car with enough power to open the doors so we could jump the thing and get the battery back up.

SOURCE: My battery was dead in

If you have a keyless remote, use it to lock and unlock your doors-if not, lock your door with the door lock, close the door, and unlock the door with the key. This should reset the alarm.

Keyphob problem

The glue may have caused it to stick. If you feel mechanically inclined, you may take the door apart and repair the lock and or mach by freeing it from the glue. There are several glue solvents on the market, just don't get any on the paint or plastic.
Otherwise, a trip to the local mechanic may be in order.
The Fob, may actually not be working. There are fixes for this, but complicated. An easy Fob fix is battery replacement [too weak] and also, replacing the rubber part [amazon/ebay]

Good luck

The battery is dead on my kia amanti and the doors are locked and the key wont open it.

Spray some penetrating oil in the keyhole and try again. will it open the trunk? If your car has the fold down seats with the pass through to the trunk, open the trunk and have someone small crawl into the car and unlock the doors from the inside. Or get someone to give you a jump. With the jumper cables hooked up you should be able to open the door with the remote.

Battery dead on 2010 volkswagen tiguan. keyless entry only. is there a keyhole?

The end of the door handle (the part that doesn't move when you open the door) is actually a plastic cap under which hides the real keyhole. There is even a key-sized hole at the bottom of it which you can feel with your finger. Just pry it off and you're good to go.

Central lock

will it work if you use the key in the keyhole to lock it? if the redlight begins to flash after the doors are locked with the key, then the battery in the key is dead or the key is not recognized by the car. if key battery is dead, it will have to be reprogrammed after the battery is replaced.
