Question about 2003 GMC Sierra 1500
How do you remove the center [between the front seats] armrest/storage area. the top section has broken loose [ the part that covers the storage area and serves as an armrest when closed]. I need to know how to remove the rest of the folding section to replace it.
These are usually a combination of Velcro, screws and snap latches. The screws have concealment caps that can be removed with a small screwdriver. The other place is under the rubber liner mats for the "catch all" area and in the bottom of the storage compartment itself. If you have any lighters, ashtrays or power points you will have to remove those first as well. Small screws usually hold those in.

you will have to remove the seat, completely dissasemble the seat frame from underneath, its alot of stuff to remove, all the lumbar switch cover on the drivers seat also, check also to make sure if you have heated seats that it isnt shorted out around the plug area
