Have you done a pressure test or are you going based on the light? If based on the light it is common for the oil pressure switch to fail. If based on a pressure check you may need to remove the oil pan and check/clean the pick up screen.

SOURCE: Adding freon to air conditioner

If your system takes R-134 then the fittings for the high and low pressure are different sizes. You should only be able to fit the connector on the low pressure side.

Engine Knocking / No Power

Dosent sound good. Oil light on means you lost oil pressure. and the knocking sound is the damage done due to low pressure. Start looking for another engine or another van.

Oil light keeps flashing but the oil is good

Oil light is for pressure, not level. A flashing oil light means your oil pressure is low. If you have a normal oil level, and the car is not making any grinding or knocking noises from inside the engine, you may have a bad oil pressure sensor.

Oil pressure switch where is it located on the engine. Plymouth Grand Voyager

Right beside the oil filter. Easily to change 10-15 min and cheap $15-20. Be sure to have extra rags to catch oil that will come out when you remove the unit.

Where is the A/C low pressure switch located on a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager?

Should be near the reciever/drier/accumulator, or on the compressor. Follow the low side lines, and you should find it.

Black Cap to your left, right up front as you open the hood. Next to the Engine Coolant cap.
