Hi Jake, 1st off, take off the negative battery cable. get a 12V test light, hook one side to the battery, and the other end to the cable. If it lights up, you have a draw on the battery.(short). The interior lights will have to be off, and even take the fuse out for the radio(clock) because it will make it light up, too. Then just start pulling one fuse at a time to see if the light goes out. When ya find the right fuse, see what circuit its on, and start looking for a hot bare wire touching metal

Daytime running lights won't go out even with key removed

Hello,
Please provide the year make and model of the vehicle. Typically when this happens there is a relay thats stuck "open" and will need to be replaced. Could be a chaffed wire that is shorting out somewhere in the vehicle. or could possibly be a faulty lighting control module depending on what vehicle you have. Ill be standing by. Please advise

Why it sounds like it's jake braking when I lay off the throttle? The jake brake is not even switched on either?

Jake brakes are controlled by electro-mechanical solenoids that are screwed in the Jake housings on top of the camshafts and rocker arms. Oil passes through these solenoids when they are switched on, and oil pressure is what opens your exhaust valves up to use the engine as a brake. Sounds like you have one or more of these solenoids that are stuck on, letting oil by all the time. Another thing could be a bad Jake Brake On/Off switch, letting power by even if it's off... (doubt that would be it though, but it could be)

95 ford mustang starter fuse keeps blowing. what should i do?

have you checked that the starter itself has not been grounded out (short in the wiring?)
The chances are this is what is causing your problem, start at the starter motor & follow the wires, check every single one, if you have a bare section that comes in contact with the body or anything else metal it will ground out that wire & cause the fuse to blow every single time even if you were to double the fuse resistance I.E. if the fuse is a 20 & you put in a 40 it will still blow - that last part is ill advice - never put a higher amperage fuse in a socket that was intended for a lower amperage fuse - it could cause a fire & serious injury, check all your wiring from the starter you have a short in the system somewhere it's just a pain in the a

I have a 1995 Maxima, and the brake lights keep going out as the 15 amp fuse under the dash keeps blowing. The tail lights themselves work, and all the other lights work. No brake lights will work. I'm...

TO SIMPLIFY,fuse box-pedal switch-tail light cluster, maybe something inbetween but hardly likely...start with cleaning the contacts for the brake bulbs as they may have verdigris on the brass connectors, then change the switch, then worry.

Nissan does not use inline fuse. You are looking for fuse number 34 (red 10 amp fuse). It is located under the hood between the engine and battery. Possibly marked "ILL"
