My 2003 Ford Explorer power windows! won't work!!!!

Hello there
I have also just had a problem with my 2003 Ford Explorer power windows not working. The other day I was driving with my daughter and she tried to roll the back drivers side window down to talk to a friend. It wouldn't roll down, so I pressed the lockout control on the main panel on the drivers side door. The window then worked, she talked to her friend for a few minutes and then rolled the window up. The next day, I tried rolling down the drivers side window and it wouldn't go, I then tried all of the others and no go for any of them either. My power sunroof works, same with the radio. I tried pressing the lockout control button and still nothing. I changed the #62 30A fuse and they still don't work. Do you think it could be the lockout switch? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you need a window motor. Try hitting in center of door trim panel to see if you can get it to work if so replace motor.

SOURCE: Windows will not operate on my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

window relay module probably went bad. theres a window relay under the dash you have power . try getting a wiring diagram mabey at an auto parts store or the library. so you can trace the problem down . short of taking the doors apart and checking the motors that drive the windows . Old fix with the old school cars bang on the doors from the inside with fist . it sometimes works the connections on the old school cars . Its stupid but it worked to get the window up .

SOURCE: 04 taurus Power Windows, passanger side goes down, not up, new mo

It is most likely the switch itself. since the down works that means that there is power going to the switch. So, the up position switch is probably worn out.

Why won't cruise control, power mirrors, and power windows work on my 2003 Ford Explorer?

The diagram shows fuses--circuit breaker--relay, power windows. Did you check the applicable fuse circuit for voltage, use a test light? As you can see terminals 30 and 85 at the relay are hot all the time, use a test light to check for voltage. At the relay, the bottom right wire, 86, is ground, controlled by instrument cluster.
Are there any applicable trouble codes?

2003 ford explorer shut-off while driving and it won't turn over, no sound when key is turn.

If the headlights work, I would check for voltage at the key switch and the major fuses.
If nothing works, I would start at the battery and work toward the fuse boxes. Could be a bad ground connection too.

Back seat passenger power window of a 2003 ford explorer is not working. I can hear the motor working but the window doesn't go up or down. I can push it up and down manually but now the window is inside...

The window came off the tracks. You will need to take the inner door panel off and get to the window track and put the window back in the track.

Windows won`t go up or down in my 2003 ford explorer and it`s no fuse for it just a circuit breaker and i am getting power up to that point but not in the switch in the door

Mine is doing the exact same thing right now, the only temporary fix I have been able to figure out is, turn the car on, put in drive, then in park, then try to put the windows down or up. It is the only way it would let me put my windows up and down for now. Going to get a Chilton's manual soon to see what they say about it.

There should be a screw under the switch console, which you will need to remove, before it will
pull from the panel.
