Question about 2005 Honda Civic
I have the code but do not know how to put it in
Just turn the acc switch on, turn on the radio and press the code numbers using the numbers on the radio faceplate.

call ur dealer, or any dealer...give them ur VIN number, and get in ur car. turn key to on, turn off radio. hold 1 and 6 (opreset buttons) and att he same time, with ur other hand, turn radio on...this will tell you 2 numbers, i think its U xxxx and L xxxx...give them these 2 numbers (they alternate, one number shows at a time). ur code should be a 5 digit number. dont try and figure out the code, as u only get 6 tries then the radio locks itself for a few hours or so. once u type in the 5 digit code from the dealer, ur radio will pop back on like regular. just did this this morning lol but now my radio doesnt make any sound, even though it appears to be running properly.

this car come with tree diferent engines the answer i'm going to give you is for a 1.7 engine sohc that codes means you have a leak on the evaporative system this system monitor the vapors from fuel tank this code some time might appear for filling the fuel tank with car runing i recomend you to clear code and make sure the fuel cap is not loose because there is a fuel pressure sensor in the tank and if the sensor don't read the right pressure then it will set the code

ok your radio displays ERR , OK 3 options let it sit for an hour turned on , to reture to CODE display , or pull the radio fuse out for a minute and put it back in , returning to the CODE display , or disconnect the battery for a minute , returning to the CODE display . you got the ERR display because the code was wrong or not entered correctly , make your choice of getting the radio back to the CODE display by 1 of those 3 choices , while the radio displays CODE , use the preset buttons , if the first number of your code is 4 , then press the #1 preset button 4 time , when the first number has been input , put the 2nd number in by pressing the #2 prest button , if 2nd number of code is 8 , press the # 2 preset button 8 times till the # 8 is displayed , and so on . you see where this is giong ? when you have entered all the numbers correctly you will have you radio back . when you say you have the radio code , good luck ! were rooting for ya .
