How to change an oxygen sensor on a 2006 Buick rendezvous

The trouble code should tell you which 02 sensor? The 02 sensors are in the exhaust, sensor 1/sensor2, whatever, bank 1/bank2, whatever, before the cat, after the cat. You have several 02 sensors in the exhaust, don't know which one?
You should be able to remove/install with proper size wrench or deep socket. They do make an 02 sensor socket that has that slot in it, not sure if you need that, though.

Locate 02 sensor

On the I6 engine, the precat sensor is located on the passenger side of the engine right below the exhaust manifold. Easty to get to, unplug the sensor and use an 02 sensor socket to remove. Post cat sensor is underneath after the cat. The connector to unplug is located in a difficult position, near the top of the transmission. I find that moving yourself toward the rear of the car and reach in the easiest. As opposed to reaching in right above the 02 sensor.

My 2001 passport check engine light was diagnoised by a local parts store as oxyge sensor, now i find out that there's more than one (1) How do i know which one to replace or do i just replace them all or...

No I can not give you the code number because I did not scan it for you. The Diagnostic Trouble Code will show ( example 02 Sensor Bank 1 sensor 2 ) for the sensor at fault, or something simaller for one of the other 02 sensors. Fore ( example 02 Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2 ).The parts store that did the scan for you should have given you the particular fault code as well as its location. If you replace one 02 sensor, you should replace all of them. Good Luck and have a good XMASS.

Missing up hill replace wirring spark plug replace fuil filter and i was told that it was the heated oxygen sensor and i replace a 4 of them and it still missing like bacd firring

Who told you to replace the 02 sensors. They arn't even related to this issue. That was just a waste of money. If you got this diagnosed in the first place a code would of told you what cylinder is missing. It most likely would of been an injector issue, a coil issue, or a spark plug issue. This is providing you have no engine damage.
As far as the heated 02 sensor, all the heated part does is heat up the exhaust faster in the few seconds that its purpose is for to reduce cold start emissions.

Now if someone diagnosed this and recommended 4 02 sensors at the same time them the only thing that could of caused all to go out at the same time is a failed PCM and you would of had codes to guide the tech in testing before comdeming the PCM. In this case all the 02 sensors would of still been fine unless one shorted out and thats why the PCM failed.
But no matter what the 02 sensor is not what is causing a misfire under load.

Escort has engine light on, diagnostics say 02 sensor is out, both were replaced, same code for 02 sensor bad shows up, replaced again, same code shows up

MOST OF THE TIME AN 02 CODE DOES NOT MEAN REPLACE 02 SENSOR..SOME AUTO PARTS STORES WILL SCAN YOUR CAR..TELL YOU CODE 02 SO PEOPLE AUTOMATICALLY REPLACE SENSORS...IF YOU CLEAR THE CODES DOES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME BACK ON RIGHT AWAY OR DOES IT TAKE A LITTLE TIME... IF IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME THEN YOU HAVE SOME PROBLEMS THAT ARE CAUSING THE EMMISSIONS TO BE OUT OF RANGE.. IF THE LIGHT COMES BACK ON RIGHT AWAY YOU HAVE A PROBLEM IN WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN THE SENSOR AND ECM....MAIN COMPUTER.....OR SECONDLY POSSIBLE PROB IN THE MAIN COMPUTER...GET SOME OF THOSE ANSWERS AND FIND THE EXACT CODE THAT RETURNS THEN GET BACK WITH ME FOR MORE HELP

I have 2004 GMC ENVOY XL the engine light stay on. i do a diagnostic on it the code i get is P1133 HO25/025 INSUFFICIENT SWITCHING SENSOR 1 OR BANK 1 SENSOR 1. also code PO133 02 CIRCUIT SLOW RESPONSE(BANK...

P1133 is a slow 02 sensor or a shorted to ground at the PCM to 02 sensor signal. If the 02 sensor does not cycle fast enought it is called a lazy 02 sensor, the only way to test for this is with a digital volt meter or a scanner. if it will not pulse fast enough it will throw the code so Replace the 02 senor on the driver side bank. Bank one. then clear the codes. The code is thrown do to seveal reasons the 02 sensor could be dirty or it just could be worn out, you could pull it and clean it and try it again or just replace it and be done with it. The cost of a heated 02 sensor is $50.00 at a auto parts store or the dealer might charge a little higher but the cost in savings of fuel is well worth it.

How do I replace the 02 sensor

well you first need to know which 02 sensor but if you know all it takes is usually a 7/8ths wrench. sometimes you need an 02 sensor socket. but really you unplug it and unscrew it apply the copper anti seeze to threads and install it tighten it up. disconnect battery for 10 min and good to go
