Question about 2003 GMC Yukon XL
Error goes off the next time I start. This has happened one other time 2000 miles ago. Scan with CARMD shows no errors.
Most common problem is a code for the encoder motor position sensor.
You will not be able to pull a code unless you can communicate with the Transfer case control module, the codes ARE NOT stored in the PCM.
Sensor is about 80 bucks and takes about 2 hours to install (on your back) about 30 min, if you have a lift.
Just a side not, if the light came on. There is a code somewhere
