Question about 2000 Dodge Stratus

2000 Dodge Stratus brake lights don't work

My Stratus' brake lights don't work. I replaced the bulbs and the fuses are good too. The taillights come on when the parking or headlights are on, but don't come on when the brake pedal is depressed.

The stratus' are well known for the brakelight switch on the brake pedal going out frequently!!
so go to nearest parts house and buy a brakelight switch, that will most likely fix your problem!!

With the condition of the screws you should check to make sure there is a good connection to the lower bulbs for both power and ground.

Do the taillights work? If so it might just be the bulb. If not then the wiring is broke some where or loose.

I would guess the brake fuse ( this does not use the same fuse as the tail lights/blinkers) or the ground for the brake light bulb.
