Question about 1993 Mercury Villager
1993 Villager had lose of power on acceleration like its starving for air or fuel.runs great then has no power. Replaced air filter, then cat. converter, then found fuel regulator was bad, then replaced mass air flow, then replaced fuel filter. Van then ran great for 1/2 hour or so, then lacking power again, tired of getting nowhere
Sounds like there is a load of dirty fuel in that gas tank. Ran good for a while after changing fuel filter, then began to run poorly again. Remove fuel tank, drain and clean out, replace fuel filter AGAIN. That should cure it. Hope this helps
