I have a 1993 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 5.7 liter 350. How do I bypass the heater core by connecting two hoses? Will the only negative impact be that I will not have a heater?

You can remove both hoses from the core and put them together using a short length of copper plumbing pipe. No problem to engine from this it flows through just like its going to core( engine can't tell the difference)
