Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500
Bad bulb in the monitor. You may need to replace the monitor. You can order a new bulb system for the monitor, take it apart and replace it, but it is fairly difficult. It is basically a small strip that is fastened to the bottom of the monitor and projects light up through the LCD screen.

I believe that your vehicle has two large fuse/relay assemblies. One is under the hood and the other"may" be under the drivers side passenger seat. The owners manual will list all, and I mean many" fuses and relays. Check them all with a test light or if you think a relay is at fault just switch to alike relays and see if that fixes your problem.

SOURCE: I have just purchased a
First site that comes into mind is best buy. Since they have stores that you can go to to check the units for yourself before purchasing.
I believe that you can replace it yourself. It would make it easier to take note of the wires connected to the stock player since the color code vary a bit for manufacturers. Other than that is a screwdriver and a rag. The rag is to cover the flathead to avoid scratches in case you need to pry the unit or the panel.
