How do I stop the head lights to flash when the light are turn off ?

some vehicles have the head lights or park lights connected to the immobiliser circuit so that the lights flash when locking/unlocking the vehicle. I would be looking at a light module problem

How to adj front lights

The front head light adjustment on a vehicle can be rather complicated insofar as the vehicle needs to be a certain distance from a wall or screen, and the right and left beams need to be adjusted to specifications. I would recommend taking the vehicle in to a garage for such an adjustment short of having the correct specs for these adjustments. A repair manual for this vehicle may have the head light adjustment specs.

Sounds like your alternator is not working like it should and causing your battery to lose power or it could be your starter.

Why would only one headlight work from the dimmer pushrod? Aren't both headlights run on the same circuit

Yes , but unfortunately your head light has seen it's last day. Older model vehicles head lights work that way, high beam you will have both head light and low beam only one or visa verse.
Hope this helps you.

Head lights are strong. no sound when key is turned. inside lights and radio go out, but head lights and trouble lights stay on

starter circut is not functioning. the radio and interior lights along with many other "auxillary" systems are on a switch that temporarly disables them when you start the vehicle. That system is working, the starting system sounds like it is not. Check Starter and Starting Solinoid. This applies to all Ranger, Explorer vehicles OHV 4.0, SOHC 4.0 and HO5.0 powertrains.

2002grand am daytime running lights

99 - 04 grand am.

I had the "service vehicle soon" light come twice with in 1 year. First the heald light bulbs were gone. Replaced the head light bulbs and after 2 starts the "service vehicle soon" light was gone.

The second time the DRL - #194 amber bulbs were gone. Replaced these and the "service vehicle soon" light was gone after 2 starts. The DRLs are housed in the headlamp housing, the tiny bulbs beside the head light.
