SOURCE: Window won't let down
It sounds like the wire harness has a break in the wire from the body frame to the door frame at the door hinge. You'll see a rubber tube that runs from the body frame to the door and the wire harness is in there, as the door is open the wires make contact and as the door is close the wire breaks causing your window to react the way they do. You can by the wire harness or you can repair the damaged wire to your window you self by taking the rubber tube off one side, door or body to get to the wires inside and find which wire is the one for the window and repair it. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted. be glad to help.

The window lowering and raising as you open and close the door is normal, it is designed that way to prevent damage to the weather stripping that seals the door glass to the body. The computer controls this action and is activated by the door switch. If the problem is only with the driver door then I would suspect a switch. If the problem is with both doors then I would suspect a computer glitch. Either way I would reccommend taking the vehicle back to the dealer to have it checked out and repaired. Is the car still under warranty?

SOURCE: door doesnt open
Now when you say frozen locked is it when you open it from the inside you want to get out because if its that I believe there should be a small switch button on the door near the catch latch (only if you can open this door from outside handel) for a child safety lock switch flick it the other way (only 2 way this switch works lock and open) and it should open from inside (if it wont open from inside and outside then the door handel trigger is either come off the only way check it is open the door cover and look if anythng has come off) hope it give some help

SOURCE: mini one drivers door window
there is most likely a button sensor that is stuck - if you don't open the door much - that will do it - try spraying WD40 on the door components along the door edge where the latch is - also try wd40 on the latch inside the door -- open and close it say 35 times and after 10 or so it should work - but still keep on til 35 - then do that 10 times a month -

dis-connect your battery for 30 seconds to do a switch reset on your window, when you reconnect the batt your window will go down, open and close rear door to check lock functions ok first. close rear door and using key or switch inside car close window fully with out stopping, this should reset the window.
