SOURCE: No fuel pressure.

Security light on or blinking?

Passlock system on these cuts fuel pump signal if the key isn't sensed or there's a problem with the system. If you have a remote starter then that's a good thing to start focusing on. Inside the column there's two wires they tap on the right side coming out of the top of the ignition cyliner. If the taps wear out and break the wire, or cause too much resistance in the wire, then that could very well be your issue. Again, security system problems?

Also CKP sensor, if you're using a scan tool it will read as putting out something even if it's not right. If you have a reason to suspect a bad sensor then I'd start considering replacing it.

SOURCE: i replaced fuel pump but

The fuel pump relay is controlled by the PCM which uses the gray and black wires all the way back through the chaissis to the fuel pump. With the key on and no pressure at the rail the pump should be running. If there is no power out of the PCM (Power Train Control Module) to the fuel pump relay the fuel pump will not work

If your looking for the fuse the fuse location is in the FREE owners manual here: (2.62 Mb)
http://www.aboutautomobile.com/OwnerManual/2004/Saturn/ION Check the IGN fuse.... and the fuel pump relay (page 330)

Some fuses are in a fuse block on the driver's side of

the vehicle, near the driver's right leg. Loosen the screw
on the cover and remove the cover.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

1992 Ford E150 has no power to fuel pump, inertia switch good, relays good, new pcm i am lost.

the pressure regulator controls the power requirement to the fuel pump
when pressure is reached , it allows power/circuit to the ECM to be broken which in turn stops the pump relay from working
when the pressure drops , that circuit is energized and the ECM switches on the circuit , to the relay allowing power to the pump to supply fuel to get the pressure back up
for the circuit operation you will need a schematics of the electrics for the vehicle ( workshop manual) as some may not use the ECM but go straight from the pressure regulator to the relay through a fuse

Where is the fuel pump fuse located on a 2009 Chevy Traverse

FSCM Fuse
25A
Fuel Pump Flow Control Module , under hood fuse/relay box.
do you know what a fuel pump control module is ?
The in-tank fuel pump is controlled with a fuel pump control module (FPCM). The engine control module (ECM) enables the FPCM and sends the desired fuel line pressure to the FPCM via GMLAN. The FPCM sends a pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage to the in-tank fuel pump allowing the fuel line pressure to be varied as commanded by the ECM. The high pressure fuel pump, fuel rail pressure, fuel injection timing, and injection duration are controlled by the ECM.

I would bet that the fuse isn't the problem ! Don't get me wrong , the fuse could be blown but fuse's don't blow for no reason . The fuel pump control module .

P0230 fault - citroen xsara picasso 2001 2.0HDI - not fuel pump or relay changed - intermittent cutting out on car - can drive 30 / 5 / 15 miles before this occurs

code p 0230 refers to fuel pump relay---circuit malfunction===causes --wiring---fuel pump relay-- ECM
check wiring for bad connections
replace the ECM with a known good unit as it may be breaking down electronically in the circuit that controls the pump relay
Check the pressure regulator as well as it reports to the ECM to shut off the pump relay when the fuel pressure is reached and not being used

No power to fuel pump

ON some engines the power to the pump is from a fuel pressure sensor in the fuel manifold . It tells the ECM to switch the pump off when pressure is reached. Check if you have a sensor . Check relay is working and check fuse for pump.

Injector not working why put new injector new computer new fuel pump does it have injector relay 1987 celebrity

Check fuel pressure. Have you replaced the fuel filter on schedule? Verify that the fuel pump is getting power. Power goes through an in-line fuse, then the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure sensor. (The relay bypasses the oil pressure sensor while the engine starts, but fuel pump power goes through the sensor during normal run operation. If you lose oil pressure, the fuel pump is shut off to protect the engine.) On four-cylinder models, the fuse is in the fuse block (E PUMP 10)
The fuel injectors are connected to the ECM fuse on one side and straight to the engine computer on the other side. Check the connectors and wiring, especially at the injector.

With the ignition key turned on without trying to start the engine you should hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds. That is how its primed to start. Upon starting the oil pressure reaches normal operations & the prime switch will cut off by the signal from the computer. Thus the engine still needs fuel to run so the computer switches on the fuel pump relay to provide the fuel to the engine. The prime switch is intergrated with the oil pressure switch. If you do not hear the fuel pump upon having the key on replace the oil pressure sensor

Will start if i put gas down the port/carb seems to have fuel press at test port,,changed the rotor/dist. cap, don,t allway have fuel press may be the knock sensor ?shutting it down. it was hard startind...

sounds like fuel pump relay. next time it want start pull the ecm bat fuse for a few seconds see if it will crank then. knock sensor will not cause this. ecm bat fuse it works the fuel pump relay, fuel pump, injectors, ignition system an the pcm. also the oil pressure switch will shut down the fuel pump if oil pressure drops below recommended pressure . check the connectors on these things that not loose or corrioded.i think you will find the fuel pump relay is what this relay is the problem. this relay maybe in dash or under hood in the relay box.

Your have a Fuel Pump A Control Circuit /Open try these possible solutions. Using a OBD II scan tool. Free use at Autozone. Check operation of fuel pump. Remove the glove compartment. Turn the ignition switch to ON. CHECK: Connect terminal FC of the ECM connector and the body ground. Check for the fuel pressure in the inlet hose when it is pinched by hand. OK:There is pressure in the fuel inlet hose. At this time, you will hear a fuel flowing noise .OK. Check for starter signal circuit Check for ECM power source circuit, if no good Repair or replace.OK Check circuit opening relay, if no good Replace circuit opening relay.OK. Check voltage between terminal FC of ECM connector and body ground to do this Remove the glove compartment Turn the ignition switch ON. Measure the voltage between terminal FC of the ECM connector and the body ground OK: Voltage: 9 – 14 V OK. Check for open in harness and connector between EFI main relay (Marking: EFI) and circuit opening relay, and circuit opening relay and ECM. Check fuel pump, if no good Repair or replace fuel pump.OK. Check for open in harness and connector between circuit opening relay and fuel pump, and fuel pump and body ground, if no good Repair or replace harness or connector.OK Check and replace ECM.
