Best way is to pull the engine and put it in an engine stand. It is a long job requiring more that back yard mechanic knowledge . If you do not have a workshop manual the I suggest you get one .

What is the effects of new pistons especially bigger ones in a daewoo lanos 2000 model, can the sound of the car change compare to the standard pistons?

bigger than standard pistons are measured in .010" increments and will require a rebore of the cylinders to fit them
most people fitting over size pistons to gain more power generally increase the size of the exhaust system and fit extractors as well
that will change the tone of the engine , but pistons alone will not

I bought an aftermarket piston for my 1992 Mercury Topaz XR5 3.0L V6, the original red dot piston seems impossible to find. the aftermarket piston is .021 shorter than the original piston when measured...

Do not use this piston. We are not taking about thousanths of an inch (which would be bad enough) but hundredths. This would drastically change your combustion chamber volume in one cylinder only. Also the spark plug would fire with the piston further down the bore quit likely leading to detonation in that cylinder and may damage your engine because of it. It may, as you say, also be a balance concern since it may not be within the weight tolerance of the pistons. Simply changing the thickness of a head gasket by thousandths of an inc can make a combustion chamber difference - so as mentioned earlier - hundredths of an inch in one cylinder is not acceptable. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks. This actually was scary for me to read.

Uses about a quart of oil between oil changes

all vehicles use some oil between changes
oil is splashed up the side of the piston bore.the pistons have compression and oil rings.the oil rings are to scrape the oil back down as the piston moves down,if this wasnt done you would burn oil every stroke and loose a lot more
1 quart between changes is no big deal

I have a brake binding problem i changed the master cylinder twice, change the flexible brake lines and changed the seals of the front calipers and cleaned the pistons of the calipers too.

If you have a frozen caliper, (rusty piston stuck inside calipers cylinder), then you have to options:
Replace the caliper piston and sea,l with a new one, or replace all thing i.e, the caliper. Hope will help.

My hyundai accent piston rings need a change how

If it needs rings, it probably needs a lot of other engine work, like a cylinder hone, or if it's out of spec, a bore, which means new pistons and on. You might look into a good remanufactured engine that comes with a warrantee if your has a ton of miles on it.

The workshop did not fit the oil regulator and engene seized. but piston show that the problem was the injector, piston 2. Why have the engene broke after the oil filter has been changed, without the...

what oil regulators?? only change the oil filter and oil ,their is no regulator only a pressure relief valve but thats in the oil pump ,if the injector failed ,and allowed neat fuel into the piston then this would cause the piston to seize because it wash all the oil off the cylinder bore .then seize up time

Oil; burning

If you changed rings and valve gaides before you fitted new rings have you check cylinder block?it mybe cylider worn out so it was to rebore engine block and put new piston with new rings.
the ather thing it hapen sometimes when you fitting piston rings, check how piston rings is it should be all piston rings defrent direction inside the piston groves.
Use original parts.

Did you change the pads, pistons or calipers or the whole set? if you changed just the pistons, did you hone the cylinders? I don't know if yours have them but there were some vehicles(ford) that had non-metalic pistons that kept seizing/not releasing after the breaks were released.
