There's a single set screw holding the sensor on the side.
Disconnect the electrical plug first.
Caution: With the sensor out, transmission fluid will leak out. Either drain the transmission fluid before or use a preselected hole plug.
Remove the set screw. Gently pull out the sensor from the transmission.

Ford focus 2000 squeaks front passenger side

sounds like a squealing belt or bad pulley on the engine.
If the brakes are indeed fine, then the solution is to work on the engine.
doubt if it's a wheel bearing, too.

Traction control light and abs light came on at the same time and stayed on, on my 2001 ford focus please help!

most likely a wheel sensor concern

if the computer cannot see the wheel speed then you lose ABS and TRACTION control

go to almost any part store and have them pull codes
assuming you have a VSS code, replace the suspected part or continue diagnoses for possible wiring concern

Where is the ac recharge port on my 2003 ford focus?

the low pressure port is behind the passenger fender plastic wheel liner.
Remove the screws and pull out the liner and it's right there. Please give highest rating if this is what you need.

    1. Detach the wheel arch trim panel on the passenger's side (driver's side shown).
    2. Remove six bolts.
    • Remove the trim panel.
