Question about Chevrolet Colorado
It is probably in your steering rack and pinion, if you have rack on your truack otherwise it is in the steering box, you would be surprised to know how many time the main shaft gets twisted in an accident then causes steering problems

SOURCE: power steering noise
MY SUGGESTION TO YOU IS THAT THERE IS NO REASON TO GO TO THE DEALER FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU 3X AS MUCH AS IT WOULD AT A PRIVATE SHOP.THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THAT ONLY THE DEALER CAN HANDLE,BUT ANYONE CAN DO THIS ONE.IVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 20 YEARS.

SOURCE: steers hard when turning around
try lucas power steering stop-leak. drain some of the fuild and then pour that in. it is for surging rack & pinions, not just for leaks. if that doesn't work then you may have a defective rebuilt rack.
check power steering pump pressure, might be weak.

sadly it sounds like the rack and pinion is going bad..rebuilt units are available ...you'll need a 4 wheel alignment after replacement. Get this fixed as it very dangerous and will only get worse

SOURCE: 2004 kia sedona front end issues
This is a known problem and has been increasingly noted by sedona owners. Steering shaft becomes corroded making vehicle steer hard. They say due to salt but if you live anywhere it snows you cant avoid it.
