SOURCE: Where is the oxygen sensor?

All you oxygen sensors are located on you exhaust system. start from the manifolds and work you way downward toward the tail pipe and you will find all you oxygen sensors. Very simple to replace, just need oxygen sensor socket. pick it up from almost any auto-parts store, ex Auto-zone, Pep-boys etc. Just attach socket to your ratchet and turn counter clockwise to remove and clock wise to install new sensor. Good Luck

SOURCE: Trying to replace my heater core for a 1994 Volkswagen Passat

take everything out, except the steering wheel and brake pedal, its th only way, seems complicated, but just tackle it, it goes quick. label things that you take apart and pay attention to how to route the wires again. the clips that hold together the vent system are a pain, I ended up not putting a few back on, big deal.

SOURCE: where is the oxygen sensor located on a 1994

You need to follow your exhaust. You have two. One in the front and one in the back. All you do is plug one side into the electrical connector and the other side screws into the exhaust. You need to find out if it is the upstream sensor or downstream sensor before you change that one. The one in front is upstream.

Possibly. Check for the proper amount of freon in the system. There are pressure sensing switches that stop the compressor as a safety measure.

1994 ford f150 oxygen sensor location

An Oxygen Sensor (O 2 S) or heated Oxygen Sensor (HO 2 S) is used on all engines. The sensor is mounted in the right side exhaust manifold on some V8 engines, while other V8 engines use a sensor in both right and left manifolds.

Heated oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust pipes below the exhaust manifolds. The sensors react with the oxygen in the exhaust gasses and generates a voltage based on this reaction. A low voltage indicates too much oxygen or a lean condition. Where as a high voltage indicates not enough oxygen or a rich condition.

Disconnect the Oxygen Sensor (O 2 S). Measure resistance between PWR and GND (heater) terminals of the sensor. If the reading is about 6 ohms at 68°F (20°C). the sensor's heater element is okay.

Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer).

How to turn off heater and air

Hi - I have a 1999 Passat Wagon (2.8) with Climatronic A/C. The only way I know to turn off the unit is to switch the blower down to minimum and hold the button in. That switches it off. Press any button to reactivate.
