Ive got a major diesel fuel leak,coming from between the fuel pump and the engine.


Remove the pump and replace the worn seal with a new one. Put the pump back and see whether still leakage. If not the seal then check on diesel pipes might be one of them has a leakage

Hi. I have mazda drifter wl turbo 2,5 diesel. Cam belt snapped and broke 2 valves. I replaced the complete head and serviced the pump and replaced new injector nozzles. Also did big ends and small end...


incorrect ignition point for the injectors
diesels ignition point is around 22 degrees btdc for pumps or from the crank sensor if common rail ( information of year or pump or common rail not included )
if it is a pump with pipes to injectors , you have the timing incorrect

How to Replace a Blower Fan in an Excursion


Blower Motor
See pics bellow Removal
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the vacuum pump (7.3L diesel engine).
  1. Remove the bolts (7.3L diesel engine).
  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose and remove the vacuum pump and mounting bracket (7.3L diesel engine).
  1. Disconnect the speed control servo connector (5.4L and 6.8L gasoline engines).
  1. Remove the bolts and remove the speed control servo (5.4L and 6.8L gasoline engines).
  1. Disconnect the connector.
  1. Remove the blower motor ventilation tube.
  1. syo%7eus%7een%7efile=ani_caut.gif%7egen%7eref.gif CAUTION: Carefully remove the blower motor so as not to damage the wheel.
    Remove the screws and remove the blower motor.
  1. syo%7eus%7een%7efile=ani_caut.gif%7egen%7eref.gif CAUTION: If the wheel is to be reused, clean the corrosion from the shaft end prior to removing the wheel.
    Remove the wheel from the blower motor.
    1. Remove the push clip.

LEAKS AT THE INJECTION PUMP CAN BE COMING FROM DIESEL INJECTION PUMP DRIVE GEAR INNER SEAL.LOOK FOR LEAKS AT FUEL SHUT OFF VALVE AND COLD START VALVE.

Toyota Town ace Diesel turbo pump continuously


is it the primming pump? if so replace it if its the the injection pump it may have to be removed and send to a service centre for repair. to save time and money you can look for a junk town ace with engine intact and take the pump from that once its ok

Retiming of vw transporter diesel pump


hi there if you remove the cam pully wich drives the diesel pump you will see a key way in the end of the cam turn the engine untill the key way is flat ( i use a streight edge in the keyway and turn until it is level with the top of the cylinder head ROCKER COVER REMOVED once this is aligned up there is a mark o the back of the diesel pump pully thiss aligns up with a groove between two castings on the side of the pump at the front of the engine once all these are aligned up you can put on the belt ( it may ot start right away this wil be due to needing to bleed up the fuel ONLY IF PUMP BEEN REMOVED and bleeding up the fuel can be a right pain. hope thos helps ben

Need the timing marks for a 3.1 td 5 cyl diesel injection pump


isusu engine?? have you looked for a 8mm hole in timing gear that corresponds with a hole on plate behind then lock it in with a bolt ,remove bolt after tightening belt .DONT FORGET THIS ???.....if you cant find anything do it with no timing marks easy --- piston no 1 at tdc valves closed spin pump till fuel comes out of no 1 injector feed and lock it all together,indirect diesel is 6/8 ,,,,,direct injection is 12/16,,,,and turbo is 18/22 btdc
