2002 and up Ford F350 Diesel Engine Oil in Belly pan low fuel mileage.

Ford Diesel engine blows off the intake rubber intake hoses, blue in color with 7.0 Liter. If you have a problem with this engine as stated above there is an updated hose for the intake tubes also remove the intake pipe on the turbo side of the turbo remove the 10MM bolt that holds the metal tube on to the block and remove the clamp on the turbo, remove tube. Next look at the turbo shaft inside do you see oil in the turbo? If no then grasp the turbo shaft and try moving it up or down and in and out. Any Movement The turbo needs to be rebuilt before replacing the Turbo hoses. If there is oil in the turbo then it needs to be rebuilt so stop at this time and decide what you want to do with it.
The turbo also has a flapper valve inside the turbo that goes bad at about 100,000 this is the boost waste gate and boost flapper valve, it is an internal gate unlike the mechanical ones on most turbo. If you have low power check the boost pressure with your boost gauge if you have less than 12 pounds of boost then it's time to look at the turbo. Of the Turbo I have rebuilt I have increased fuel mileage by 30 percent. If you want the details of how to gain the extra mileage post a comment to me or ask this question and I will get back to you for the procedure.

I have 2008 Nissan patrol with zd30ti engine that has got a noise in the turbo at revs. If you pull the vacuum line off to the waste gate the noise stops.

When you remove the vacuum line you run higher boost pressure and spin the turbo harder. This will eventually cause damage to your engine and is not recomended.

There should be an access cover on very top of the housing over the flywheel. May have a rubber plug over it.

My 99 9.5 4cyl saab blows blue and white smoke . i ve been told it is a turbo replacement fix. the car has 161k. Is it really worth fixing the turbo? The car is in good condition, new h2o pump,tires,good...

I would replace to turbo. To make sure it is the turbo and not the head gasket, remove the air intake to the turbo (not a hard job) and then (with engine off) grab that turbo shaft. Try and pull and push it and move it up and down. If there is ANY play, it's the turbo. If you got 161k out of one turbo, that is VERY GOOD. Normal is 120k or less. There is a guy on ebay that sells rebuilt for about $300. If you do the work yourself (Experienced Tuner) you can save $1k. Else you will have to have a shop do it, usually about $1,200 or so for everything. If you are in the WI area, we could work something out.

Removing turbo from audi tt 225 quattrro

Yep, it is possible to get turbo off without pulling engine. I had a TB break at 85000 miles and did the repair at home (2 bent exhaust valves, 1 intake valve). Getting the turbo disconnected from the exhaust manifold was the single toughest part of this repair. It is attached with 3 reduced head socket bolts (appear to made from stainless steel). Eventually had to drive out one of the bolts...

White exhaust smoke is a sure sign of coolant entering the combustion chamber. You have either a blown head gasket or cracked head. Serious engine damage will occur if it has not already. STOP driving this car and have it repaired immediately. Hopefully there has not been too much damage, but as you describe it not have much pull, I would suspect there is serious damage.

2006 VW Passat 2.0 turbo engine. How do you expose spark plugs to change said spark plugs? What to disconnect as far as turbo tubing and any type of electrical connections that are hidden or hard to...

You have to take off the air-cleaner housing to get to the coils, To do this unclip the back ductwork going to the turbo (back left), then remove the front ductwork, and pull up on the entire thing, it's got grommets holding it down, after that you should see the coils. To unclip those, take a small screw driver and gently push down on the tab (to lift the tab inside the clip) and push then pull it out, be careful not to break the tabs when prying, they are delicate. Pocket screw driver does the trick for me. then pull on the coils (or pry with screw driver if they are stuck) and go to business.
