Check and separate all the HT leads as it may be cross firing through the wire insulation from touching each other. There are spacers available from a spares shop for this purpose.

Cn fuel pressure regulator cause a dead miss on 92 chevy lumina?

A fuel pressure regulator maintains sufficient pressure for all the injectors to operate correctly. If it is not working properly you will have random missing on all cylinders as the injectors are starved for fuel to inject. If you have a constant miss in one cylinder then by moving that injector to a different cylinder will prove injector or spark/coil problems Run fault codes to determine the fault area.

What do I do next? My 2001 olds alero 3.4l v6 is misfiring constantly. Scanned obd2 error code p0301. Already changed spark plug, wire, and coil for cylinders 1 and 4. Still have same problem.

I recommend checking all injectors and O rings on the injectors if an O ring cracks air can raise Cain with misses so can injectors another thing is cam to look at will cause a constant miss but only on 1 cylinder at a time but doubt its the cam. check injectors and O rings also pull 1 plug wire at a time with wire pliers while engine is running and find the 1 cylinder that is giving you the problem when you pull the plug wire that is missing the engine will smooth out then that cylinder is your problem wear rubber gloves with the plug wire pliers so you dont get bit let me know if i can help please rate my solution as this is how i earn my achievements on fixYa thanks.

Engine miss

Have you replaced all 8 coils and plugs? I have found it best to replace all at once as one that is marginal makes the others work harder. Also, make sure that coil is Motorcraft brand and not aftermarket. The computer and aftermarket coils do not play well together

I have a 2003 lincoln ls 3.9 v8 the code shows that I have a 8th cylinder miss and a bad o2 sensor can the o2 sensor make my car miss and it doesn't miss all the time either

A faulty o2 sensor will not cause a misfire. This is exhaust related, which is more than likely due to a clogged catalytic converter, which was is likely due to your misfire leaving unburned fuel to go to the exhaust, which clogs the catalyst. You likely smell a rotten egg type smell in the car at times. Your misfire is likely another cylinder. The OBDII codes are not great at finding the cylinder of the misfire in this particular car. Your best bet is to replace all 8 coils and plugs at the same time with OEM Motorcraft coils only. One bad coil makes the others work harder, meaning if you replace them one at a time, you will be constantly chasing a misfire.

5 7 vortec misfire

Did you change the spark plug wires and coils? That is usually the main cause of a miss in a cylinder.

Missfire on cylinder 8 on bmw 545

move the ignition coil to another cylinder and see if the miss fire moves. If so replace that ignition coil. If the miss fire stays on that cylinder it is more likely the fuel injector. Was their carbon on the spark plugs when you removed them? This is indicative that the fuel injector is gummed up.
