I'm sorry, but if you can't figure that out, you really shouldn't go any further with your repairs.

SOURCE: how do you replace cabin

Your post does not make sense, it is listed under 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, you say you have a 2007 Trailblazer 4.6 liter. A Trailblazer does not have a 4.6L engine, it is a 4.2L. If you do have a Trailblazer, it does not a cabin filter.

How do I change the air filter on a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The air filter is in the right (passenger) front corner of the engine compartment. Use a screw driver to remove the four screws securing the cover and the air filter comes out. Be careful not to drop the screws as it's easy to do and you'll likely never find it again. Good luck.

How do I change the air filter?

  1. Step 1 Turn the car off and leave it off while you are working on the car. Don't turn the car on while working on the air filter as it serves as a barrier in the event of an engine backfire, serious injury could occur.
  2. Step 2 Find the air filter housing unit by looking at the corner of the engine compartment, nearest the passenger side windshield. Look for a black rectangular box.
  3. Step 3 Open the lid on the housing unit by pulling on the latches. Lift the lid up and away from the base.
  4. Step 4 Remove the first filter from the housing unit. Clean out any debris left in the box. Don't use water to clean out the unit or the engine may be damaged and not covered under warranty.
  5. Step 5 Replace the filter with a K&N filter part number 33-2305 for Corvettes manufactured from 2005 to 2007.
  6. Step 6 Close the lid on the air filter housing. Reengage the clips to secure the lid in place.
  7. Step 7 Change the second air filter by following Steps 3 to 5.

Check engine light air Fuel mixture

When it comes on again let a regular shop scan it for you with a good scanner so they can see whats going on. a generic code reader wont do it. if it is stored in memory they can still check it. if the truck runs good idles fine just watch out for anything out of the norm , what about air filter and fuel filter have they been changed ? tune up ? air filters should be changed every 2 to 3 oil changes and fuel filter every 30k depending on fuel quality there. and tune up at 60 to 70 k even though they probaly said 100k.
