When i turn my car( 96' chevey corsica) on it makes a winding sound no matter what gear im in. sounds like air is comming out of a hose. idk. help me!

    Does it do it in park or neutral?

    If so it could be power steering noise.

Check top hoses have some one step on gas while you listen follow the sound i think you just have a loose hoose that is not properly tight.

Sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. You will need to remove the light and start tracing the wires.

My 1996 chevy corsica has a wiper switch that is either slow or really fast would a switch from another 96 corsica that has the delay work with my 96 corsica? I found one at junkyard, dont want to get...


You will not be successful replacing just the switch. Cars with delay wipers utilize different wiper motors, and wiring harness's than cars without.

Remove rear seat 96 corsica


As with most vehicles, the bolts holding the seats in place are located under the car. Locate the mounting bolts under the chassis (it may be neccessary to use penetrating oil about 30 minutes prior to attempting to remove these bolts - WD-40 works well).

check your boots. old ones wear out and let debris in. you may have to have the front axle replaced if you let it go too long but check your boot which should be behind your behind your wheels towards your motor

Chk. all fuses, there is a fuse for injectors, If no spark at plugs chk ignition fuse and switch, and chk. fuse for e.c.m. Can't help with diagram. Parts dept. chevy dealer will print you one out.
