Question about 2004 GMC Sierra

Same problem 2004 K2500

I have had this problem for about a year. I have always been able to shut-off and restart with good results...not today. I have tried about six cycles with no change. I was swapping out a battery just prior to this occurance.

Started off the day putting a big scratch in the drivers door to boot :-(

Runs good shut off for a few minutes restart runs terrible engine spits and sputters

A bad fuel pump may cause a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9l to run for a few minutes and just shut off without sputtering. It can also be that the fuel pressure regulator (on top of fuel pump assembly) is stopped up. Dodge Ram trucks have been named Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year three times.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
