Fog lights not working on 2006 Nissan Maxima

The most likely cause is a 'short' in the wiring. Remove the light fitting and take a good look at the connections on the actual light fitting. Look for dirty or damaged parts. Check the wires and the connector blocks are clean, shiny and are not damaged. Then check the light fitting itself for damage. Check the seal where the light fitting fits against the bodywork. If moisture or water is getting past it can affect the lights.

Wiring front fog lights to a 2002 freelander ES.

Do not fit these lights yourself, you must take the vehicle to the dealer to have it done .Firstly as vehicle wasnt factory fitted you need the original homoglonation certificate from the manufacturer for the model with the foglights fitted, then you need a installation project drawn up by certifide auto engineer with the relevent technical qualifications (i have them) then they can only be fitted by a garage with an added value tax certificate, then vehicle must be presented to the local vehicle inspection depot to be mechanically inspected all over weither its due or not,the relevant paperwork plus the fee presented ,then a new vehicle registratrion document issued showing the changes.Failure to to this will cause the vehicle to fail its inspection when next presented as paperwork isnt correct ,the lights are ilrevelent as to weither they work or not,but if fitted from new they must work. Also if stopped by the guardis civil and paperwork checked, and they notice then you risk having the vehice impounded their and then on the spot ,big fine and the cost of the removal truck.

    Fitting front fog lights

    I just saw fog lights on e-bay for about $125 - $130 + shipping.
So the relays are there? I have not checked not car yet. I was told fogs need a "J relay" and a "white relay with green feet" under the driver's side knee bolster, and a "gray relay" at the fuses. Please let me know if you have part numbers in case I need to order them. (Maybe I will try a donor car from a salvage yard). Good luck.
