Question about 1993 Isuzu Trooper

Where is the valve located to check for fuel pressure on 93 Troop

My 93 trooper died and now cranks but doesn't fire at all. I want to check for fuel pressure and was told that there is a valve on the engine that i can depress like a tire valve to see if there is fuel pressure. I searched all over and can't find the valve. And how can I check the fuse?

I was still not able to find it or the rail, even looked under the engine. But your answer makes sense. Thanks for the help!

If yours has that valve it should be on the fuel rail (looks like an a/c charge port), you don't just press to see if there is fuel. you need to put a gauge on the fitting and read actual pressure (10lbs will squirt, but can you tell the difference between 10 and 35lbs?)

If there is no valve, then there is am adaptor that is fitted between the throttle body and the fuel line that you can buy to do that. You don't have port injection but have throttle body injection? Or you have a rail with no valve.

'Got so wrapped up in the valve thing I forgot to mention that if you can spray carb cleaner into the throttle body and it starts, when it's in no start, that will verify that you aren't getting fuel.

Im getting a crank/ no start situation on my 93 chevy astro ext 4.3Ltr v6 and ive never let a vehicle beat me b4 but this one is giving me a sound whoopin - pls help

Easiest way to trouble shoot a crank no start is to spray starting fluid into the air cleaner intake before you crank it. If it fires then dies it is a fuel problem. If it doesn't fire it is a spark problem. If it fires then dies, check the fuel pressure at the engine end of the fuel line. Pressure below spec prevents the injectors from working properly. See shop manual for the proper procedure.
If it doesn't fire put a spark tester at one of the plug wires set to the proper gap to measure the spark voltage being developed by the coil etc. Good luck.

96 Isuzu Trooper automatic 3.2 liter dual overhead cam with driving and it just died wont start

Is the timing belt okay? Fuel? Oil level? Did it make any noise when it died? Smoke?
Some good info on Troopers stalling here...
Could be EGR, wiring harness break or too much oil coming into the intake from the PCV. This model has trouble with these things.

My 97 toyota camry cranks but doesn't start.

If you have low compression you have only a few things that cause that. 1. you have a blown head gasket. 2. you have a cracked head. 3. your piston rings are shot. With a no start condition I can almost garuntee you have either number 1. or 2. If you wanna check the crank sensor, have someone spin the motor while you pull off a spark plug boot. If you hear/see it firing then the crank sensor is good. Crank sensors either work or they dont. If the crank sensor is bad, you will lose fuel and fire.

I'd use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, key on engine off, 60--66 psi with spider fuel system.
Engine cranking did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs? Engine cranking is there a fuel injector pulse?https://s8.postimg.org/50arofh11/fuel_pump.jpg
Click on the link for fuel pump relay, you can check the fuse. At the fuel pump, gray wire is voltage, black is ground.

The fuel pump pumps but on start up it dies

Flel regulator will only affect max fuel pressure only will not cause it to not start. try replacing fuel filter first if still does not get fuel then you need to see if it is fuel related or if you have a spark at the spark plugs, pull off a spark plug boot and put screw driver in it hold 1/4 inch away from bare metal and crank engine if you get a spark then it's fuel relateed if no fuel it can be the crank shaft sensor or the cam shaft sensor. let me know if it has fire.

1989 Isuzu troop temp gauge goes straight to hot when key turned

there is a sending unit for the guage.but if it has been running a few minutes and gets hot you may need to check the thermostat or water pump.check the water pump by taking the radiator cap off.then start the vehicle, look into the radiator and see if any coolant is flowing or circulating.do the cheapest fix first
