Yes it does. But it's held by only one bolt (if my memory is ok than it's 28mm). Update me about your progress

Good Luck

Yes..The steering wheel must be removed. It is not difficult to do this. However the steering wheel is fitted on to a splined collar, and this collar must also be removed. A special pullers is usually needed to remove this collar from the steering column.
Good Luck....John

Replace combination wiper switch 2002 Pontiac Bonneville

I just pulled one of these switches from car. You need a t20 torx bit and a flat head screw driver. Disconnect the negative terminal under the backseat so the airbag doesn't go off, the steering wheel doesn't need to be pulled.

I need to replace the multi-function wiper switch on a 2003 Chev express van, what type of screw driver is needed to remove the steering column housing that contains the switch?

the switch is underneath the steering wheel. the steering wheel needs to be pulled to replace the switch. the airbag is in the steering wheel, and a trained tech with a puller is needed to pull that wheel off without screwing up the airbag.

Wipers stop when turn signle is turned on and then wipers will only work when left signle is on

Your turn/wiper switch is bad in the steering column. It's not too hard to replace if you have a steering wheel puller. Be sure and disconnect the battery so you don't trigger the air bag.

There are two screws that hold it on and you can remove the cover on the steering wheel with a tork wrench #6 I think, could be next size down #4 then remove the two screws holding the switch in place.
