SOURCE: location of the coolant temperature sensor

You will find this sensor where the fat hos comes from the radiator and conects to the engine block. It would be on the housing where the thermostat is located. If it is not there you should look for a sensor that has a wire connected to it anywhere on the engine block where a water inlet is located. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer, thanks.

2017 Passat coolant temperature sensor location

The coolant temperature sensor on a 2017 Volkswagen Passat is typically located on or near the engine. It monitors the temperature of the engine coolant and sends this information to the engine control unit (ECU) to help regulate the engine's performance and fuel efficiency.
In the case of the 2017 Volkswagen Passat, the coolant temperature sensor is located on the engine block. To access it, you may need to remove some engine covers or components to reach the sensor. The exact location can vary depending on the engine type and model specifications.
For a more accurate and detailed location, it is recommended to refer to the vehicle's service manual or consult a qualified mechanic. They can provide you with specific instructions for locating and replacing the coolant temperature sensor on your 2017 Passat model. Additionally, if you are not familiar with automotive repair and maintenance, it is advisable to seek professional assistance to avoid causing any damage to the vehicle.

I got a diagnostics reading for my 1996 subaru legacy outback and got codes po183. got any answers for me?

P0183 Subaru - Fuel Temperature Sensor 'A' Circuit High Input ' Add Comment
Possible causes
- Faulty Fuel Temperature Sensor
- Fuel Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Fuel Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
What does this mean?
When is the code detected?
An excessively high voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM.
Possible symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
P0183 Subaru Description
The fuel tank temperature sensor is used to detect the fuel temperature inside the fuel tank. The sensor modifies a voltage signal from the ECM. The modified signal returns to the ECM as the fuel temperature input. The sensor uses a thermistor which is sensitive to the change in temperature. The electrical resistance of the thermistor decreases as temperature increase

this sensor is in the fuel tank on the fuel pump assembly. If you look under the carpet behind the rear passenger seat, you should see a sort of rectangular access cover. Underneath this cover is the connector to the fuel pump. Make sure that all looks good. Could just be a bad connection. Sometimes when you have the fuel filter replaced a place will unhook this connector. When it's reconnected it might not be fully seated or have a bent pin or something

Where is the location of the fuel temperature sensor on a 1997 nissan truck??????

The Temperature sensor is part of the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
To replace the FTS (fuel Temperature Senor) you have to replace the entire FPR Assembly as well.
The FPR Assembly is located in the engine bay on your truck.
Yours may look whitish color or tarnished. this is due to being weathered.
Hope this helps you out.

Try it.

Where is the iat sensor located on a 1999 chevy cavalier 4cyl

The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor determines the air temperature inside the intake manifold. Resistance changes in response to the ambient air temperature. The sensor has a negative temperature coefficient. As the temperature of the sensor rises the resistance across the sensor decreases. This provides a signal to the PCM indicating the temperature of the incoming air charge. This sensor helps the PCM to determine spark timing and air/fuel ratio. Information from this sensor is added to the pressure sensor information to calculate the air mass being sent to the cylinders. The IAT is a two wire sensor, a 5-volt reference signal is sent to the sensor and the signal return is based upon the change in the measured resistance due to temperature.
