I had the same problem in my 2003 Durango!!
turns out the auxiliary fan was not working!!
that fan should run all the time when the a/c is on!!
so start the truck, turn the a/c on and then go look at the aux fan (the plastic electric one attached to the radiator) and make sure it is spinning!!

I replaced all my blend doors on my a/c unit. 2006 dodge ram diesel and it's still blowing warm air instead of cold when a/c is on.

Is the compressor engaging under the hood? What are the pressures? Have this checked first and make sure the blend door works that you installed.

The air conditioning blows cold when at idle or low RPM's. It blows hot at faster RPM's that include most driving, especially highway speeds. What do I need to fix?

It is possbile that you may be low on freon in your pickup and you may need to have it recharged this will run you about 60 dollars.

The ac in my 2006 dodge 2500 gas engined truck does not blow cold when the engine is at idle. when running normal speeds the air gets cold

start by cleaning or replacing your in cabin air filter. check to see if your AC condenser fan is turning when the AC is turned on. Make sure the front of the radiator is not clogged with bugs, mud, etc. Check AC compressor relay-make sure the compressor clutch is turning the compressor with engine at idle. lastly check for proper refrigerant charge.

I have a 2006 Ram 2500 Diesel. My heater quit working. One minute it was blowing hot air, then next it was blowing cold air. Any ideas what this is or how to find out without spending an arm and a leg?

low coolant. disconnected or faulty servo to control difference between hot and cold or the heater core could be clogged. if it warms up when reving the engine then it is probably low coolant.

99 dodge ram 1500 ac problem

recharge your system, it;s low on refrigerat, there is not enough liquid going into the evap to help maintain cooling, hence the speed of the compressor. install gauges to check pressures at idle, if not to spec , recharge. if it's low you have a leak to repair. also make sure your AC condenser is clear. I have the same truck with the same exact problem. Mine also stopped blowing while pulling a camper and indeed it is the clutch on the A/C. I was told if you can find someone in your area that can actually rebuild the compressor and not put a new one in you can come out alot cheaper! Also if you crank your truck and turn the A/C on look under the truck on the passenger side at the compressor and take a tool of small hammer and tap the compressor in the middle and it should come on and run the a/c for a little while! I did this until it finally went out and it worked! Might buy you some time!
