Question about 1999 Dodge Ram

Selector switch's not working

I have a 99 dodge 1500 5.2 and the temp. controll doesn't work nor does the selector switch forair,heat,panel,defrost.are these vaccum or elec. operated ?
any solutions ?

I do beleive they are vaccum controlled...check for a leaking or broken vaccum line under the hood...

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 - air not blowing out of dash vents


I'm assuming the blower motor is working?if so,I'm also going to assume that all other vents are flowing?If so it may be the blender motor,or the actuall selector switch,if all other vents are flowing when you move the switch, I would replace the switch first,it is alot cheaper and easier than the blender motor.
