Check all vacuum hoses for leaks and good connection. clean mass air flow sensor internal sensor wires with carb cleaner and a Q-tip. One or both may help. If not, have a code scan done and see what comes up!

What's your problem?I have a 2000 Lincoln LS that runs great when driving but as soon as I stop and sit a minute it cuts off. I have noticed the car start stalling a little before it cuts off. Cou

Generally speaking, the common reasons for stalling are a faulty idle air control valve or a dirty throttle body.
The computer controls idle speed by how much air is allowed into the intake thru the throttle body.
Those two issues would be checked first.
Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ?

It cuts off cuts completely off while im driving or even at stop sign or stop light

if it cuts off after you have been driving there is a good chance that you ignition coil or module is getting to hot. One good way to tell is if this happens after you have been driving and then it is starts back up after you sit for a little while.

1996 oldsmobile ciera has hole in radiator that I patched with jb weld, did not keep hole closed, later car will drive fine, until it is sit at idle or at a complete stop, the car will run hot and cut off....

well if the leak is bad enough you should just replace the radiator. A cooling system relies on positive pressure to operate correctly. All that stuff they sell such as stop leak and bars, etc is just a temporary fix. If your coolant is not able to circulate through the motor completely you will have problems, warped head, blown gaskets, no heat also. I would just go to a scrap/junk yard and find a radiator. It will be pretty cheap since it is a 96 Olds.

Someone sid i will have to "rock" the motor to get my plugs out. is this true what is this?

Plugs are very difficult to get to on all types of mini-vans. There are a few oddly shaped tools you can purchase that you might be able to do it without rocking the motor but it is a very difficult and time consuming process either way to get to the rear plugs on any mini van. Make sure the motor is completely cool before you try to reach around the motor or exhaust but if your are small in size and don't worry about getting a few cuts and scratches, it is possible to reach all 3 plugs in the rear of the motor. It is a little less painful but much more time consuming to loosen upper motor mounts and tip it forward but alot of disconnection needs to take place. Hope this helps!

CHECK THE COLD START ENRICHMENT VALVE AND OR THE IDLE CONTROL VALVE. I AM ASSUMING THAT YOUR VEHICLE IS FUEL INJECTED. ONE OF THOSE HAVE GONE BAD.
