i just purchasd this 91 cadillac seville pumped 10 gal of gas and the car started acting up it wont stay on and it shakes the car had been sitting for a year in his garage
Likely you have condensation buildup in the fuel tank...when you filled it, you mixed the water with the fuel. Don't bother with drygas There is about two gallons of space between the tank pickup and the bottom likely a good part of that is water....remove the tank and clean it out.

- You could change the filter, but Unloess you are very lucky, I'm betting on water in tank. If when you change the filter, you find any water in there (pour contents into glass jar) any small amount shows a larger amount in tank...Seen this many times before.

I have a 96 Ford F-150. 5-speed. Truck has problems starting. I put a new battery in, so I ruled that out. This is what happens: on my first attempt, the dash lights / radio come on, when key is in "on" position. When I turn to ignite (start), I hear a click, and get nothing. Then, after that first attempt, I get NO juice whatsoever.....no dash lights, no nothing, as I make further attempts. I researched and I'm thinking its the ignition switch, because I read that a faulty one could effect all of the "key" positions (on, start, etc). Any ideas??? Thanks !
