It may be fully charged but it has moisture or air in the system. try bypassing the pressure switch with a paper clip it's on the reciever dryer, if it works ok then you need to replace the low pressure side switch if it does not then you need to replae the capilary tube and reciever dryer, also does any ice form on any of the tubes? and make sure the raditor is full of water and that the raditor and condensor fins are clean, if not take to car wash and wash from the inside of the engie to the outside till you can see clearly threw the condensor and radiator.

Sounds like you may need a compressor ? Start the vehicle and verify the compressor is not engaged , if it is not take a small hammer and lightly tap on front of the compressor ,it should engage.

Brake lights work part of time on a 2001 Chevy blazer

Check the GM recall list on this vehicle. There are problems with the multifunction switch, and the hazard light switch. The recall actually shows you what to do to narrow down the problem. Brake lights run through both of these switches. I just went through all of this, ended up being a burnt female connector that goes into the brake light switch. Up on the brake pedal.

Chevy 2004 blazer ac stoped working abruptly and stops the engine if you turn on the ac could you just replace the clutch if that is what is defective? instead of the whole compressor and all the other...

I mworking on my blazer AC unit now . You have a problem with the compressor clutch or the compresser Its likely the clutch its supposed to cycle about 8 times per minute . So it goes on then off 8 times per munite this is normal . However if the clutch dosen't spin then the belt will drag on the clutch pulley this will stall the engine until the belt wares out but this will damage every part that the belt rides on . The water pump the alternator powersteering pump and belt tenisinor not to mention the belt .It sounds like your clutch is seized try not to run it until you can figure out why the clutch isn't spining

Try to do the crank relearn:
Ensure that your battery is fully charged before attempting the relearn procedure. Do not leave any battery charger or jumper cables attached to the battery. Close the hood completely. Some applications require that the doors remain closed during the procedure.
