it should be located on the driverside Chasis rail just below drivers door area . it may have a metal shield protecting it. you will need special disconnect tools to cahnge. wear goggles to protect your eyes the fuel line will be presurized and can squirt fuel
Filter is behind fuel tank , requires quick connect tools on inlet. they can be perchased in part stores. the other two lines just require a couple kus words but just depress the blue & green tabs too remove lines. releave fuel pressure at engine compartment test valve on fuel rail to injectors first. it will still make a mess.
The fuel filter is located on the inside of the frame on the drivers side. Should be a little behind the drivers door. You will need a special tool to remove the lines that go onto the filter. You can buy the tool at most automotive handy stores (canadian tire, part source and so on). If you have any more questions please ask I would be glad to help
The fuel filter is located just ahead of the fuel tank on the driver
side. It's tucked inside the frame. You'll need to go to the parts store
and get the special tool to release the lines. You push the tool in
where the lines and the filter push together. This will release the
line. Sometimes it takes a little finessing. Remove the fuel filter.
Push the fuel lines on the new one. That's it. It's a good idea to
release the fuel pressure before starting all this. Otherwise you'll end
up with gas spraying all over for a second.
Your gas tank is in the back of your car between the frame rails. The fuel line runs up toward the engine along the drivers side frame rail on the inside of the frame rail. The fuel filter is located along that fuel line inside the drivers side frame rail, about at the back of your front door. You should be able to trace the fuel line all the way to the intake of your engine. Once you locate the fuel filter, you will need a special tool to remove the filter from the line. You should be able to get the 'fuel filter tool' at your local auto parts store for under $10. The tool has a flanged end on it, and it 'scissors' open and closed. Place the proper sized end on your fuel line just in front of the filter so that the flange sticks in toward the filter. Gently push the tool in toward the filter, while pulling back on the fuel line. The line should come disconnected. Remember, the fuel line is pressurized and may spray gas for a second or two when it comes apart. Then do the same to the other end of the fuel line. Good luck. Any problems, write back.
the regulator is located at the end of the fuel rails where the gas comes from the tank to the motor, just a couple of bolts hold it in place, and the vacume line on it pulls right off, however you will need a fuel line disconnection tool to remove the fuel lines coming from the tank to the regualtor, i paid like 12 bucks for mine, it just slides on the line and into the coupler then the line and coupler seperate, be sure to releave fuel pressure from the motor before taking the old one off to prevent spray and a gasy mess during diconection.
usually there is a special tool to remove those clips... if you live in the states i believe autozone will rent/loan you the tool.... if in canada you can rent/borrow the tool from canadian tire. if you cut the clasps i doubt you will be further ahead as you would need the tool to install the new filter.
