Question about 1994 Buick Skylark
Before I had the head gasket replaced, the car never heated up past 160. The mechanic put in a new thermsotat and now the idle temperature is 220. Why??
This vehicle uses a 195 degree thermostat. Standard operating temperature is about 210. If the vehicle was running 160 before then the thermostat was probably stuck open before.
