This vehicle uses a 195 degree thermostat. Standard operating temperature is about 210. If the vehicle was running 160 before then the thermostat was probably stuck open before.

You have leaking engine cylinder head gaskets, this may be the cause of the overheating or a result of it, replace the head gaskets and have the radiator cleaned by a by a radiator repair shop, that should cure the problems.

Oil is milky is this definetly a headgasket. i recently put new radiator because it was overheating

I have done mechanic work with my father for years, everytime I have seen a vehicle with over heating issues and the oil is milky looking yes the head gasket has been bad. When replacing the head gasket always have the head checked for warps, or cracks.

It would cost anywhere from $800-$1200 to replace it and the gaskets. Cheapest way to do it is to get one from the boneyard that you can take out yourself. this will give you an idea of how it comes apart without breaking anything on your car. Then just replace the one on your car with it. Just make sure to have it machined before you put it in.
