It's located in the exhaust pipe behind the motor. It has wires that connect to the electrical system. It is removed much like you would remove a spark plug. Unless you have the tools and experience to do it yourself, you may want to find a mechanic to help you.

I have a 1999 dodge caravan, question is what doese it mean when the freeze frame data shows the codes po 134

code p 0134 refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 1 bank 1--no activity detected====causes ---wiring open circuit---heating inoperative--- HO2S sensor
It also refers to oxygen sensor (OI2) 1 bank 1 no activity detected ===causes wiring---O2 sensor
the ho2s is in the exhaust manifold or before the cat converter and the O2 sensor is after the cat converter
I would suggest replacing the HO2S unit using the correct tube spanner so that the wires are not damaged during the installation process

After fill ups, engine light indicates deffective 02 sensor bank1. On a '04, Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.8.

You must have duel exhast then. Bank 1 is the drivers side and you have a upper and lower o2 sensor. More than likely it is the upper o2 sensor that is the problem.

Need to change the O2 sensor where is it exactly in a 1999 dodge caravan need a picture if possible

The O2 sensors should be on the exhaust system below the exhaust manifold. You will need a special socket with a slot in it to replace it. Be sure to spray WD-40 on it (WHEN IT IS COOLED OFF) to help loosen it.

Need to know where O2 sensor is located on a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan.

There are two oxygen sensors: one is upstream of the catalytic converter and one downstream of the catalytic converter. The oxygen sensor, or O2 sensor is usually located near the catalytic converter.Oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter in the exhaust system on the back of the engine. ------- Thanks.Helpmech

Error code p0032 on 2004 dodge caravan. what is the code?

P0032 means HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 1).

It means high impedance from O2 sensor, check wiring to sensor and replace the sensor.
Check O2 sensor located in bank 1 (cylinder 1 side- see here), and after the catalitic converter (there is also an O2 sensor before cat converter).

My dodge caravan 2001 is bringing out black smoke at the exhaust and it is consuming fuel more than normal

it is usually one of the O2 sensors is bad/i had the same problem with my 2001 dodge grand caravan sport/it may not be the muffler or the catalytic converter necessarily. take the car to either autozone or oreilly's and have them put the engine code reader on it/its free and only takes a minute/ my car has (2) O2 sensors. it would be best to give your VIN number to the dealer so they can tell you which of 4 possible O2 sensors you will need. then you can compare and shop online for the part. Some O2 sensors have 2 wires, some 3, and some 4 so there isn't just 1 part it could be. some O2 sensors also have very short wiring harnesses, so if you get one, make sure the wiring on it is long, not short, or the mechanic is going to have to rig it to make it work.

Excess fuel consumption and lack of power on 1999 dodge caravan 3 liter

Take the car to an Autozone store--they will 'read' the computer and recommend any repairs (and sell you needed parts). Troubles may be plugged air cleaner, worn spark plugs and wiring, O2 sensor(s) worn out, defective EGR valve/controls, plugged exhaust system, defective sensors in intake system, and slipping auto-transmission. Dry/worn wheel bearings and dragging brakes are also possible. Good luck!
