These accesories are all on the same circuits, they are controlled by the BCM. Look for a blown fuse first, then have the BCM checked

I want to see where my brake lights are located on my Ion, Saturn 2004 because this man said they are not working

Reverse upclose to a wall at night. You will see in your mirror them if they are working or ask someone to take a look as you press the brake pedal.

Turn on lights brake lights on, depress brake pedal no change rear lights, lights off press on brakes running lights vanity mirror and dash display light up while brake is depressed

After what it started to act like that? Something was done on the car recently? I'd say there is some mix up with the wires somewhere.

1998 cadillac eldorado rear brake lights and hazzard lights do not work

More likely that the turn signal switch assembly is bad.Have someone watch the tailights(or use a large mirror) to see if the bright tailight filaments come on with the brake pedal held down while you wiggle the hazard light switch.

The gear is getting stuck... i press on brakes and when car is in park it is hard to put on reverse.. the car runs great...

In all probability the brake sensor on the pedal is starting to work erratically. This sensor sends a signal to the shifter gate, and the gate will not open unless the brake pedal is depressed. I had it happen to me, and the only solution until i replaced the sensor was to hit the brake over and over until the stop light worked (You can check it while looking at the 3rd stop light in the rear view mirror). If the stop lights work, the shifter gate should allow the shifter to move out of park. This sensor/ switch is located about 3 inches above the brake pedal, and it is easily recognizable by the cable attached to it.

My brake lights stay on after turing off my 2004 Buick Rendezvous

The brake light switch is located under the dash - if you'll look at the brake pedal and follow it up until you see a plastic cylinder with an electrical connection - that should be the brake light switch - they are often difficult to remove (they are in a bad place and hard to get to - sometimes they are threaded as well - sometimes use a clip to hold them in) They have a push-button that contacts the pedal arm - When the brakes are off, the switch is "electrically open" and has no internal connection (no brake lights) when you push the brakes Switch is now "electrically closed", the switch button releases and the switch makes a connection internally to activate the lights - yours has either lost it's mounting and no longer contacts the pedal arm, keeping brake lights on - or has an internal short - keeping them on even when the switch is activated .....This often means that your brake lights do not work correctly (or rather stay lit at all times while you are driving) thus, a definite safety hazard - remove the wiring pigtail, remove and replace the switch and plug the wiring back in - have someone check that they are now working correctly - or use a mirror - (sometimes, on some vehicles there is a rubber plug that fits into the brake lever where it contacts the switch - this plug can fall out or break apart and cause the same problem, so when you get up under the dash to look for it, ensure the parts are there, and I usually activate the pedal with my hand and visually check the mechanicals to ensure proper operation and part presence....) The switch can also be mounted directly to the arm and moves with the pedal - or mounted on the car and is depressed by the pedal - I've seen it done several different ways so use your common sense and you'll be just fine...
