Try this test first. Listen very carefuly at fuel tank. Hvae someone turn key to "ON" so the dash warning lights are on. The fuel pump should hum for 5 seconds and then stop. Did it do this?
If not, pushe the reset button on the inertia switch whcih should be in the trunk behind some carpting. Your owner manual will tell you where it is and what it looks like. Report back.
If the pump is known to be good, check the fuel filter. the fuel filter may have never been changed and this may very well be the reason why the pump went out in the first place. hope this helps... visit again and rank this answer if I helped thanks!

What's missing ? Spark , fuel pressure , or compression. Try spraying carb cleaner into the engine ,throttle plate . Does it try to start then ? If the injectors are bad it will not start , just crank ! Videos on youtube showing how to test fuel injectors with a ohm meter .
I would make sure your fuel pump is fully operational and is pushing the recommended pressure of 35 psi. You will need a fuel pump pressure gauge (tester). I would start here and them move forward.
Fuel pump because it's not making enough pressure. That's why it's coming out of line but not getting to injectors. Check and see if someone may of put in line filter if so it could be clogged up.
If hall effect switch was bad you wouldn't get any spark. What year 2.5L is this?Is this a 2 injector Throttle Body? The pink wire on top of injectors comes thru a 20Amp fuse controlled by the Ignition switch you should have battery voltage with key on The dark green and dark blue wires come from the pcm which are called injector drivers the drivers supply a pulsating ground if you crank the engine with a test light between either pink/dk green or pink/dk blue test light should flash dimmlythat would mean injectors are being driven but there isn't any fuel at the injector or the injectors are bad no pulse means either a bad computer ( which these drivers are known for going bad)or the computer isn't being commanded to fire the injectors.
Best do a fuel pressure test. Should have chg. fuel filter from the get go. The only other filter is on the end of the fuel pump in tank. Bad gas and dirty gas will plug up fuel filter, hense burn pump up.
This injector set-up needs a specific fuel pressure supplied to the fuel rail to even start, much less run properly. The fuel pump is immersed in fuel inside the gas tank to keep it cool and not burn up. Running the fuel level low causes more heat in the pump and interuptions in proper fuel pressure. AC/Delco pumps have proven to be a reliable fix, the aftermarket pumps only last for a month or two sometimes. Check fuel pressure under the hood and power and ground to fuel pump at electrical harness at top of gas tank. This truck needs a fuel pump.
