I have fixed many of these, there is a vacum line under the hood that always breaks and it goes from the engine to the inside of the cab and is used to change your vent positions.

when your car is in defrost it has an ac cycling it removes the moisture then sends the air over the heater core depending on how warm you set it you can feel warm or cold but the ac is always cycling...ridding the moisture...you need a good ac tech it will be okay...its just expensive going into the heater core if needed...!

possible that the air deflectors have stuck in position, you will need to open unit up and check, could be just something obstructing it, or could be motor

My 1994 chevy astro keeps idiling fast. I changed the AIC valve but made no difference. What lse might I check to fix this proble?

If you did't reset the computer then the computer will not reconize the new sensor. But if you have check your fuel pressure regulator there is a good chance if you see fuel in the map sensor or in the air intake tube its the pressure regulator.

I have a 1994 chevy Astro that starts ok but after few seconds starts missfiring, running rich and some black smoke with ash, I already change: inyector, gas preassure reg. MAP sensor, Spark plugs,...

Check your coolant temp sender. If it is telling the computer that the engine is cold when it's not, it can cause that kind of problem also possible but less likely would be the mass air flow sensor. If the regulator is identical to the original and the pump was there before the problem began, I doubt if the pressure readings you are getting have a lot to do with it. Though I would make sure that the return line from the regulator is not obstructed as that can increase line pressure..
