Is there a particular amp that I should look for when purhasing a new battery, because price range from $30-over $100?

sizeing a battery all depends on requirements of the manufacture, how ever if you have auxiliary electrical systems such as driving lights ,pumped up stereo systems or dvd monitors for the kids these may add more load on electrical system so go to a higher amp battery would be a good idea.
if space permit a 600-750 cranking amp unit should do well

Get the highest cca rating battery you can afford. It will give longer service and is more reliable under extreme hot/cold conditions. Your choice also depends upon how long you intend to keep the car!

Get the recommended battery for you car, make sure it has the right cold cranking amps as the original. Get it from an AUTO-ZONE it will be less than 100 dollars. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA
