Throttle body replaced on my 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 engine. ... I Was going up a hill and I tried to speed up, all of a sudden my car bogs down and completely dies.
What engine does it have ? Could have come with 5 different ones . If it has the 1.6 L engine . has electronic throttle control.
The throttle actuator control (TAC) system is used to improve emissions, fuel economy, and driveability. The TAC system eliminates the mechanical link between the accelerator pedal and the throttle plate. The TAC system eliminates the need for a cruise control module and idle air control motor. The following is a list of TAC system components:
• The accelerator pedal assembly includes the following components:
- The accelerator pedal
- The accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1
- The APP sensor 2
• The throttle body assembly includes the following components:
- The throttle position (TP) sensor 1
- The TP sensor 2

Your Electric Power Control light is trying to tell you that your electronic throttle control is not working, hence the accelerator pedal signal is not getting to the throttle body. If you have wiring diagrams and tools to troubleshoot this, you may find what's wrong (components, wiring, PCM, etc). If not, you should have it analyzed and corrected by a qualified repair shop.
check that throttle cable is connected at pedal & throttle lever on intake.look under the hood and have an assistant press the pedal, you should see the throttle lever move.if it dosen't,your cable is not connected or broken.
Look under the hood. Look for the throttle body .The accelerator cable is attached to it. The cable housing anchor is broken and not letting it return to idle speed.. Use a portion of a clothes hanger to secure the cable housing to the throttle body.
