Turn ignition on, make the sunroof go up and all the way down, turn off ignition and press the sunroof button to go down. Then unclip the 2 front hooks and push up.

SOURCE: water pump on a 1983 944 porsche

well the thermostat is located on the radiator, it has a double pronged wire going to it. think it is on right side when you looking from the front. Water pump should be under the covering. bottom left of engine, again looking from front. Water pumps require removing the timing belt. Will be expensive my friend if you dont know how to do it yourself. The belt must be tensioned perfect to prevent from head damage. be careful.

SOURCE: 1986 Porsche 944. Instruments not working

Sounds like a possible fuse problem. Have you checked your fuses yet. If not look in your owners manual to see which fuse(s) control your instrument panel, or anything else you are having trouble with. Keep in mind, if a short did occur for some reason, more than one fuse may be blown. When i accidental crossed two door lock wires, i blew 6 fuses, some of which were not even related to the wires i crossed. Hope this helps

1986 porsche 944 dont pass ca smog running too lean

Probably Nox too high. Can also be engine too hot. Last time cooling system serviced? Also can be carbon in the combustion chamber ignites fuel too soon. Fuel delivery system and all sensors may be a problem. Bad or corroded connections can contribute to bad behavior of the ECU.

How do I adjust air fuel mixture on 1986 Toyota Cressida straight 6 cylinder dohc

Unless your engine has a carburetor, you can't adjust your fuel mixture. That is done by your cars computer. It analyzes your exhaust emissions and adjusts your fuel/air ratio.
Your oxygen sensor(s) may need to be replaced, or there may be a computer glitch causing the problem.

Adjust air fuel mixture

Air fuel is adjusted by the car's computer and cannot be manually adjusted unless you purchase chips to then re-write code to adjust the mixture amount other parameters. Google Sharktuner by JDS Porsche for more information.

I need to adjust my fuel to air ratio on a 1986 Nissan how do i do that

OK, Im gonna assume you mean CARBURETED 86 truck, If you want to adjust idle mixture, there is a small (1/4 inch or so) plug in the base of the carb between 2 small vacuum hoses. Carefully remove it (punch a hole or drill it at an angle then bry it out with the hole you made and a small screwdriver). Then you can adjust IDLE mixture. Off idle, you may also have an altitude compensator (about the size of a tennis ball, 3 medium sized vacuum hoses to it side by side, 1 big nut and stud on 1 side). Adjusting that adjusts mixtures as well, but should be done only with an analyzer. beyond that, fuel is computer controlled...so if its rich or lean, you have a mechanical issue or a fuel control problem...not an adjustment

1984 porsche 944 2.5 na when the car is idling it will constantly rev up and down between 1 and 2k revs unless the idle control valve is adjusted inwards. Also when i press the throttle it does not rev...

cleaned out the fuel pressure regulator with carb cleaner, then dry lube spray into it, then my 944 turbo ran perfect. Also check coolant level. look for fuel diagram on internet if you cannot find the part.

944 cuts off after 5 min.

Sounds like fuel relay located in fuse/relay box. This is a common problem on the 944, always good idea to carry a spare.

My 944

May be your engine temp sensor which adjusts your idle when the engine is cold and as it warms up.
