It seems that your battery is not charging..either you need a replacement or it is a faulty alternator which is not charging the battery.First thing I would suggest is to check if the alternator is producing power by a voltmeter.

pcm bcm ignition staring diagram wiring ?????? First off what is staring ????? Do you mean STARTING system wiring diagram ??????? The PCM / BCM have nothing to do with the starting system on your vehicle. When you turn the key to the start position it sends B+ voltage through the transaxle range switch to the S terminal on the starter solenoid ,that's it . Use a test light ,voltmeter etc... With someone turning the key to start check for B+ voltage at the starter S terminal . Plus voltage drop test the heavy gage battery cable to the starter .

Car doesnt want to start. all lights come on when in the on position however when I turn it to start nothing happens it dont even try to turn over it just clicks 2002 hyundai xg350

The starting system consists of:
  • starter motor
  • starter switch, part of the ignition switch
  • starter motor solenoid relay switch
  • starter solenoid
  • starter drive
When you turn your key to start your engine, it just clicks, right? If so, more than likely this is due to a bad battery. Even though your battery may appear to be fully charged, it may have a dead cell, or worse. If you get a jump, does the vehicle start? If so, replace your battery.

Possible sources of the problem if the engine does not crank or the relay clicks:
  1. Battery
  2. Starter motor
  3. Starter motor relay
  4. Ignition switch
  5. Damaged fuse
  6. Anti-theft system
  7. Circuitry

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Any fuses in the diagram, test for voltage, some are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. Leave the leads hooked up to battery, have a helper turn key to crank, how far does it drop? In my opinion it shouldn't drop much under 10 volts, I wouldn't argue with 9.6 volts.

Won't start getting nothing when i turn key

Recheck all your connections, battery. starter, look for fuseable link on small wire going to starter. Might want to chk.that wire with test light when key switch is in start position and see if it lights. If it does not light might be starter switch under dash on steering colume.

97 cavalier wont start when turning key nothing happens

if the starter motor doesn't turn at all, and all you hear is a clicking then the starter is bad and the solenoid is good

if the starter is turning and the car still doesn't start then the starter motor is slipping and is bad

to check the solenoid put a jumper from the main battery lead (Large Red) to the ignition wire switch (Smaller Purple) is the starter operates the solenoid and starter are ok and you problem is in the ignition switch, or nuetral switch, or wiring.

Connect a voltmeter to the battery while trying to crank the engine. Is there a drop in voltage or does it stay at ~12v? If the battery voltage dropped two or more volts while trying to start there is either not enough current to the starter from the battery or the starter might be bad. Not uncommon to get a bad starter out of the box. But if there is no change in voltage level nothing is loading the battery which suggests there is no power to the starter solenoid. Now you are going to need to get to the starter solenoid and see if you have power on the ignition wire while again trying to crank the engine. If there is no power the easiest thing to check is the ignition fuse. If the ignition fuse is okay then you have an open circuit somewhere. Does your ignition key have a resistor built into the shank of the key or is it just a standard key? If yes, sometimes the anti-theft wire harness running through the columb can fatigue over time and break. When this happens your anti-theft system will not close the ignition circuit to provide power to the starter solenoid courtesy of the body control module (BCM). On the other hand if you don't have anti-theft you might just have a bad ignition switch on the steering column.
